Gainesville surgeon, Cleveland hand therapist present case studies at national conference

ASHT member and incoming board member-at-large Kendyl Brock Hunter was recently featured on AccessNorthGA.com. By AccessNorthGA.com staff Benjamin Puckett, MD, hand surgeon at Specialty Clinics of Georgia in Gainesville and Kendyl Brock Hunter, OTR/L, CHT, hand therapist of ProTherapy/BenchMark Physical Therapy in Cleveland were recently featured presenters at the joint meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT). The conference hosts upper extremity specialists from around the world to meet and discuss best practice in the industry. Dr. Puckett and Hunter presented several case studies and best practice guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of ulnar-sided wrist pain, an often difficult and challenging condition in the field of upper extremity rehabilitation. Their presentation was supplemented with instructional videos directed and produced by students at White County High School in Cleveland. Dr. Puckett specializes in the treatment of upper extremity conditions at Specialty Clinics of Georgia in Gainesville, while Hunter treats patients at ProTherapy/BenchMark in Cleveland.
