April 2, 2014 -- ASHT Vice President Barbara Winthrop joined other occupational therapy advocates to spend an exciting day on Capitol Hill shaping the future of the profession as part of the AOTA Pre-Conference Institute, "Hands on Advocacy: A Visit to Capitol Hill." The day included advocacy training and meetings with members of Congress and their staff to educate them about the vital role of occupational therapy.
