On Sunday, Sept. 8, ASHT member Mary Oswald's clinic, San Juan Hand Therapy, was featured on "TechKNOW," a national television program. Easton LaChappelle, a local high school student, is developing an affordable robotic arm for amputees. Crews filmed for more than six hours at the clinic about a month ago, according to Oswald. LaChappelle, 17, has already been featured in "Popular Mechanics" and "Popular Science" magazines, and met President Barack Obama in the White House in April.
