Share the gLOVEs at ASHT's 41st Annual Meeting

Are you coming to ASHT's 41st Annual Meeting in Dallas? Join us again this year in our Share the gLOVEs community outreach program to donate new gloves to a local charity.

The Share the gLOVEs program originated in 2013, launching at ASHT's 36th Annual Meeting in Chicago. Earlier in the year, the ASHT Board of Directors determined we, as a society of caring professionals, could give back to the city where our Annual Meeting was beind held. We invited the entire membership and Annual Meeting registrants -- not just the Board of Directors --  to contribute to this outreach by donating gloves to a local organization. That first year, ASHT donated more than four boxes of gloves to Chicago Public Schools through their HelpCPS program. Since then, ASHT has donated hundreds more gloves to local organizations where the Annual Meeting was held, including Mildred Avenue Middle School in Mattapan, Massachusetts (2014), Denver's Urban Peak (2015), DC Coalition for the Homeless (2016) and Spina Bifida Association's Southern California SBA Walk & Roll (2017).

This year, ASHT is proud to partner with GRACE, a Grapevine, Texas-based nonprofit relief agency that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency. GRACE will accept any and all types of gloves (winter gloves, wheelchair gloves, kids and adult sizes.) We thank you in advance for your contribution to our Share the gLOVEs initiative this year in Dallas, and look forward to sharing the gLOVEs for many more years to come!
