Now through June 10, we're celebrating Healthy Hands Week, a national program to promote the benefits of hand therapy to patients, referral sources and the general public. Who we are and what we do is a well kept secret in some circles. It is so important for us to go out to the public and educate them about what we can offer our patients.
In the spirit of inclusion, we would like to hear what you all are doing to promote hand therapy this week and throughout the year. Whether it's writing a thank-you letter to doctors, drafting a piece for your local newspaper or visiting new referral sources, we want to share what you're doing to celebrate.
I heard today of a clinic going to their referral doctors with a promotion about hand therapy and a bottle of wine that had a hand logo on it. What a fun idea! Please share your ideas with us.
