Improve Your Orthotic Fabrication Skills

Posted by Melissa C. Thurlow, OTR, CHT 07/31/2017

A great course is coming to Atlanta, GA on September 16, 2017, and we invite you to attend!

Hands On Orthotics is designed to improve orthotic fabrication skills of intermediate practitioners/hand therapists. The class will teach five orthotics, including fabrication of the following orthoses:

  • Static progressive MP flexion
  • Static progressive PIP extension
  • Intrinsic stretch
  • Static progressive wrist extension
  • Radial nerve tenodesis

I'm not sure how many times you’ve had a patient walk into your clinic and you thought, "I wish I were quicker or better at making these.” Well, after 36 years of experience, I still have these thoughts. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more and be more proficient at orthotic fabrication. This is a higher level splinting course in the great location of Atlanta.  In addition to learning better fabrication skills, you will enjoy the great "southern hospitality" that Georgia offers. We hope to see you in the Peace State! There's lots to do here, so please consider registering for this great course.
