Jamie is the Director of Upper Extremity Products for Hely & Weber Orthopedics. In 2000 she graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND (B.S. Occupational Therapy) and received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2006. Prior to her current position, immediately following graduation, Jamie practiced as a staff therapist at Spokane Occupational & Hand Therapy in Spokane, WA for five years. She then practiced for the next ten years at Ortho Montana in Billings, MT where she was the Director of Rehabilitative Center of Excellence upon her departure.
Jamie consulted in product design and development for many years while still actively practicing. She brought her first product to market in 2010. She was issued her first patent in 2014 when her second product was launched. Since then she has acquired multiple patents and helped bring many products to the marketplace.
Jamie has had the privilege to be a guest lecturer for Occupational Therapy students at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN (Demystifying the Vendor) and the satellite campus of The University of Mary in Billings, MT (Custom Splint Fabrication).
