Stacye Mayo, MOT, OT/L, CLT-LANA

Stacye is the Senior Director of Clinical Operations for ReVital, Select Medical’s emerging national cancer rehabilitation program. She is responsible for planning and coordinating resources, tools, and reporting measures to support senior operators across all 60 major Select Medical outpatient markets.

Stacye graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 1996. She has been actively involved in the treatment of the cancer patient since 2000 and is certified by the Lymphology Association of North America as a lymphedema therapist.

Prior to joining the ReVital team, Stacye was a Regional Director of Operations for Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation. In her previous position, Stacye played an integral role in establishing five lymphedema clinics for the Baylor Institute of Rehab system as well as a pre-surgery class for breast cancer patients, which won a Best Practice Award by the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigation. Stacye was also awarded the 2016 Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Quality Award for her work in cancer rehabilitation and has been the recipient of multiple 5-Star Spirit Awards and an award for Service Excellence.

As an educator, Stacye delivered numerous cancer-related continuing education courses including: Advanced Breast Rehabilitation; Introduction to Lymphedema; The Role of Therapy in Managing Functional Impairments in Breast Cancer; and Identification, Evaluation and Rehabilitation of the Oncology Patient with Impaired ADLs. Stacye co-developed and continues to teach Upper Extremity Lymphedema courses for Select Medical. Stacye’s poster presentation was accepted for 2014 and 2015 at Select Medical’s National Quality Summit based on her work with the pre-surgery breast cancer class.
