This panel discussion features three CHTs from throughout the US discussing their experiences with performing hand and upper extremity therapy via telehealth. Panel members will describe tips and potential pitfalls when treating virtually. Participants will gain ideas on how to successfully assess patients as well as feasible treatment ideas. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to help their own practice embrace this emerging and timely topic.
Upon completion of this course, participants will:
- List two assessments that are feasible over a telehealth session for hand therapy
- List two treatment ideas that are feasible over a telehealth session for hand therapy
- Name one potential barrier or challenge when conducting a therapy visit over telehealth
