Presenter: Jane Fedorczyk, PT, PhD, CHT
Format: One-hour, 45 minutes presentation. 15 minutes Q&A (Two-hour webinar)
It may be very challenging to achieve good patient outcomes with lateral elbow tendinopathy. In part this is due to the difficulty in determining the underlying histopathology of the anatomical structures involved in pain mediation. This webinar will discuss the implications of these tissue changes on clinical reasoning and evidence-informed decision making for client management (or for examination and treatment). We will examine what tenets of the evaluation and treatment are supported by evidence in order to achieve maximal outcomes for your patients.
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Recognize histopathological changes associated with lateral elbow tendinopathy and how they influence pain mediation.
- Identify evaluation techniques crucial to developing an appropriate plan of care for those patients affected by lateral elbow pain.
- Identify how to integrate evidence-informedtreatments to maximize patient outcomes for lateral elbow tendinopathy.
