ASHT’s Toolbox has been compiled to include resources developed specifically with you in mind! These tools will help you contact your representatives as well as provide sample letters and presentations.
Grassroots Presentation (members only)
Members have access to download an ASHT grassroots PowerPoint presentation for their own clinics. Developed to clearly define how issues, policies and federal legislative rules and regulations affect you, your patients and your practice.
Letter repository
ASHT has established the following repository to aid members in educating and fostering relationships with the leadership and medical directors of private and public health insurance carriers in the United States, with the expressed intent to advance access to hand therapy services. The repository contains documents that will support efforts to ensure open access to hand therapy benefits offered by health plans. This repository will aid the membership in informing established healthcare plans about current hand therapy practice and enable appeals when claims are denied.
