ASHT Can Help Your University Get on the CE Map!

Value of Regional WorkshopsThe American Society of Hand Therapists has developed a partnership program for use by universities wanting to get themselves on the hand therapy continuing education radar screen.

When we asked over 1000 therapists how valuable a variety of benefits would be if ASHT introduced them, the #1 benefit by far was “One or two-day regional continuing education courses.”  A staggering 93% rated these regional opportunities as “Extremely Valuable” (68%) or “Very Valuable” (25%),  The many other benefits listed, including several education delivery methods, web tools, and marketing materials, all paled in comparison to the high rating regional courses received.

We have had great success with programs such as these, and the universities we partner with enjoy a great return on their investment.

Region 1Case in Point:  The Wisconsin Hand Experience, co-sponsored by the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) and ASHT, is celebrating its 8th year in 2006.  This three-day course is given by high-quality UWM faculty members and supplemented by outside speakers brought in especially for the program.  Attendees from all over the Midwest mark their calendars each year for this well-attended course that continues to grow each year.  Please click here for more information on this course.
