Allies in Hand Therapy

Allies in Hand Therapy provides comprehensive Occupational Therapy as well as Upper Extremity and Certified Hand Therapy, which is administered by owner and operator Priti Shah OTR, CHT, CKTP who has more than 25 years of hands on patient care and experience. At our facility, every patient receives personalized one-on-one treatment with an emphasis on quality of service. Some of the services our facility provides are wound care, customized splinting (static and dynamic), edema control, joint mobilization, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic activities and exercises, modalities, work conditioning with a BTE work simulator and functional capacity evaluations.
Some of the conditions we treat are: fractures, wounds, nerve injuries (compression and lacerations), pain syndromes, cumulative trauma disorders,elbow and shoulder pathologies and injuries, tendonitis, tendon and nerve repairs, joint replacements, traumatic injuries, burns, lymphedema, tendon transfers and work related injuries.
Furthermore, in order to accommodate the different needs of our patients we accept most insurances, schedule appointments within 1-2 days, offer evening hours for the convenience of working clients and also have a multilingual staff.
This clinic is conveniently located on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne across from Preakness Shopping Center and has ample parking in the building. It is also easily accessible by NJ transit bus.
