The goal of ASHT's Government News Center is to help the membership not only become more aware of government legislation and regulation, but also to better understand how it affects your individual lives. This resource is divided into three sections:

Federal Legislation:  Lists relevant bills in the U.S. Congress, their sponsors, number of cosponsors, links to full bill text, and a breif explanation of how it might impact an ASHT member's life and or business

Federal Agencies: Lists important announcements and or occurences in the executive branch of the Federal Government

State Regulations: Tracks bills and regulations specific to individual states that are pertinent to ASHT
